We walked in on a whim and were warmly welcomed, did a short tour into the vineyard, then sat down in the tasting room for an amazing experience. Highly highly recommend!

This is the best winery, the best tasting, the best food pairing, and the best wine we’ve had in the entire region. If you have to go, this is it the staff, owner, and owner’s father are great.

Ho recentemente partecipato a questa degustazione e non posso che definirla un'esperienza straordinaria, capace di unire l'eccellenza del territorio a un'attenzione al cliente davvero rara.
Consigliatissimo a chiunque cerchi non solo del buon vino, ma un'esperienza di ospitalità autentica, inclusiva e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Un applauso allo staff per aver reso questa giornata indimenticabile. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

I went with a group of 6 ppl for wine tasting and we were all blown away , not only is the wine spectacular but the food they provided was amazing they are very generous with the portions, service was amazing as well , I’d be definitely coming back

The wine tasting was simply perfect! This place has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful surroundings, and Giuseppe and the rest of the staff were all incredibly kind and attentive. They truly make you feel at home. Giuseppe even kindly offered to arrange a ride for us personally, which we really appreciated. We tasted some excellent wines, accompanied by delicious food and lots of interesting information about the wines and winemaking. The cherry on top was the tour of the winery. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience — it was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday!

 Verificata Best winery in Sicily
If you have only one winery to visit while in the Etna area, this is the place to see. Giuseppe and his staff are fantastic, the wine is great as are the food pairings. This is the best wine tasting and the best wine we’ve had while in Sicily. We were able to meet Giuseppe‘s Father, which was an added bonus. Just a great place and well worth it. They take their time and are very generous with the servings.

Charming experience at Tenuta Pepale. Giuseppe, Tania & Valentina were so naturally welcoming that we felt like guests rather than customers.  Verificata Favourite Etna DOC winery visit
A fantastic trip to Tenuta Papale with 2 friends from Scotland, as part of a Sicily wine tasting week. We thought this was our favourite of the Etna wineries we visited (in a close race) with superb, knowledgable hosts, excellent accompanying food and glorious wines. The Rosso Riserva 2014 was our favourite, but with very good Bianco, Rosetta, Rosso Tavolo and dessert wines. Great value for our experience; definitely include a visit here if you are in the area.

I have been to Tenuta Papale twice now, and it is truly spectacular. The wine is incredible, the staff are knowledgeable and kind, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend coming here when in Catania or visiting Mount Etna. Thank you Giuseppe!

The wine tasting at Tenuta Papale far exceeded our expectations. 🍷🧡 It was a truly incredible experience: every wine was accompanied by typical dishes of the local tradition, abundant and of excellent quality, all in an atmosphere made even more pleasant by the kindness and friendliness of the staff. A special mention goes to the sweet wines, served together with delicious typical desserts, a real treat to conclude the tasting. ✨ The wine that won us over the most was the Candora rosé, so much so that we decided to buy several bottles to take with us. 🧡 The owner, Giuseppe, welcomed us with great warmth and generosity, making us feel right at home immediately. We also really appreciated the walk through the vineyards, which made the experience even more authentic and special. We thank Giuseppe and all his collaborators from the bottom of our hearts for the professionalism, the hospitality, and the passion with which they accompanied us during this beautiful experience. ❤️ An experience that we highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover the wines and flavors of the area! 🍇🍷
