Abbiamo scelto Tenuta Papale quasi all’ultimo momento, per trascorrere qualche ora in compagnia di amici, e devo dire che è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. La struttura, soprattutto negli spazi esterni, appare ancora in fase di perfezionamento, ma abbiamo trascorso delle ore davvero piacevoli, in un’atmosfera semplice, rilassata e accogliente. Un ringraziamento particolare va a Giuseppe, il proprietario, che fin dal primo momento si è dimostrato attento e sensibile alle mie esigenze di persona celiaca. Non è scontato trovare questa attenzione, e personalmente ho apprezzato molto. Anche i suoi collaboratori sono stati molto gentili, disponibili e sempre attenti alle nostre esigenze. La degustazione è stata piacevole e ben accompagnata, e abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la passeggiata tra i vigneti. Una bella esperienza, fatta soprattutto di persone, disponibilità e attenzione. Ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio e torneremo sicuramente con piacere, magari quando la struttura sarà ancora più valorizzata e completata.

They accommodated me and my husband who just drove up hoping to get a reservation. We learned so much on the tour of the vineyard. Highly recommend ! Very much worth it… make sure you have a driver home though, we were lit! It was also way more photogenic in person than what was advertised.

A beautiful winery on the hillside of Mount Etna with amazing views… Tonya was exceptional and the wines and food she served was DELICIOUS!!! We highly recommend visiting the local winery. Die Weinprobe war sehr persönlich und wir konnten viele Eindrücke über die Herstellung der Weine und die Geschichte hinter dem Weingut erfahren. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Eine klare Empfehlung!

We had wonderful white, Rosato and red with a mix of DOC and IGT wines. He offered snacks as it was before their food hour and we left with wine, wonderful tapenades and jams and even the best smelling soap! Highly recommend!

 Verificata Favourite Etna DOC winery visit A fantastic trip to Tenuta Papale with 2 friends from Scotland, as part of a Sicily wine tasting week. We thought this was our favourite of the Etna wineries we visited (in a close race) with superb, knowledgable hosts, excellent accompanying food and glorious wines. The Rosso Riserva 2014 was our favourite, but with very good Bianco, Rosetta, Rosso Tavolo and dessert wines. Great value for our experience; definitely include a visit here if you are in the area.

 Verificata The best winery on Mount Etna! I have been to Tenuta Papale twice now, and it is truly spectacular. The wine is incredible, the staff are knowledgeable and kind, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend coming here when in Catania or visiting Mount Etna. Thank you Giuseppe!

 Verificata Una degustazione oltre le aspettative La degustazione di vini alla Tenuta Papale ha superato di gran lunga le nostre aspettative. 🍷🧡 È stata un’esperienza davvero incredibile: ogni vino è stato accompagnato da piatti tipici della tradizione locale, abbondanti e di ottima qualità, il tutto in un’atmosfera resa ancora più piacevole dalla gentilezza e dalla cordialità del personale. Una menzione speciale va ai vini dolci, serviti insieme a deliziosi dolci tipici, una vera coccola per concludere la degustazione. ✨ Il vino che ci ha conquistati più di tutti è stato il rosato Candora, tanto che abbiamo deciso di acquistare diverse bottiglie da portare con noi. 🧡 Il proprietario, Giuseppe, ci ha accolti con grande calore e generosità, facendoci sentire subito a casa. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche la passeggiata tra i vigneti, che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più autentica e speciale.  Verificata The Best Wine Tasting Experience We visited Tenuta Papale as a family of three (2 adults, 1 three year old) and it has been one of the highlights of our trip! Both my husband have experienced wine tasting in South Africa, California and New Zealand but Tenuta Papale has been one of my favourites so far! Giuseppe and the team went above and beyond to accomodate us making it such a welcoming experience. Nothing was too much for them. The wines were all FANTASTIC and the food pairings were DELICIOUS. Both were provided and topped up in generous amounts. We also did the olive oil tasting which I’d highly recommend too. If you want to enjoy a day tasting delicious wines and enjoying true Sicilian hospitality then Tenuta Papale will not disappoint! Thank you, Giuseppe for a wonderful day.

 Verificata A wonderful experience with excellent wines, delicious food, and outstanding hospitality Our visit began with a lovely guided tour of the vineyard while enjoying some beautiful wines along the way. Each of us was served a different wine, giving us the chance to taste a wider selection of their wines. Back at the charming house, we enjoyed a delicious lunch paired with a Chardonnay from Sicily, two lovely rosés (an Etna DOC and a Sicilian rosé), and outstanding red wines. My only regret is that I didn’t buy a bottle of the Etna Rosso DOC—it was absolutely fantastic. The house where the lunch and wine tasting are served is small, cozy, and full of charm. It offers a much more intimate and authentic experience than the larger, more commercial wineries. We highly recommend a visit!

 Verificata Beautiful Winery Experience We booked the Sicilian lands experience and had a private tour of the winery and wine tasting. Both the wine and food were incredible. We had plenty of time to relax and slowly enjoy our wine and dessert wine. The owner was highly responsive on WhatsApp and very accommodating. Tania and Francesco were hospitable and very friendly. Overall the service was above and beyond. We had a great time and a unique experience! We highly recommend booking a tour and tasting.

La degustazione è stata organizzata con grande cura e ci ha permesso di scoprire i sapori autentici del territorio attraverso un'ottima selezione di prodotti locali e vini dell'Etna di eccellente qualità. Ogni vino era ben presentato e accompagnato da spiegazioni interessanti sulla sua produzione e sulle caratteristiche uniche del territorio vulcanico. I prodotti tipici proposti erano freschi, genuini e perfettamente abbinati ai vini. Un ringraziamento speciale va al proprietario e ai suoi collaboratori, che si sono dimostrati estremamente gentili, disponibili e appassionati.
